Barberitos Soutdwestern Grill in High Point

First we did a curbside order that said it would be ready at a specific time. Get here parked curbside and they come out 5 minutes later and tell us the rice got 5 more minutes to cook. So we are like okay that’s fine. 15 minutes later we are waiting for our food and see 3 people who walked in after we have been sitting waiting come out with food. So at this point they have a long line and my husband has to go to the back of the line to wait. We already paid online and I feel that if you know we made an online order, then our food should’ve been fixed before the three people that just walked in when we’ve been waiting for nearly 30 minutes for “5 minute rice”.

Been going there since college in '03-'06 John Westley days. Like always, superb location every time I came make it by.

Been going here for years, and the service, food quality, and cleanliness of the restaurant have greatly diminished. I have eaten at Barberitos since I was in high school (about 10 years ago now) and it is sad that this restaurant has gone downhill so much. Will not be returning.

Been visiting Barberitos for a long time. The portions continue to get smaller it seems with each visit. If you decide to stop in within an hour of closing, be prepared for the employees to seem like you are interrupting their attempts to go home as soon as they lock the doors. The cleanliness of restaurant and staff have diminished as well. The food is not gotten as bad as the rest except for the portions. Placing this restaurant in the class of break glass in case of emergency hungry.

Very fresh and fast! Eating at Barberitos has always been a pleasurable experience and this one was no different! Highly recommend stopping by and getting a burrito today!

Best value of any Southwestern style fast-casual dining chain! The staff are always friendly and helpful, plus the homemade sauces, dressings, and salsas are among the best. Also, the freshness of ingredients and overall quality are consistently excellent - every time. Love this place!

This restaurant is not what I expected but that does not mean everyone will feel the same way. The assembly line approach to creating custom food items was inefficient. It is a copy cat of the way a sub shop operates, except the food selections are different. It was difficult to hear the food prep Staff because the cough and sneeze barriers were tall so we were trying to talk to each other through a plexiglass barrier. The food items were similar to TexMex types, but prepared with a slant towards an Americanized palette. Personally, I was not impressed. Again, this is my opinion and yours may differ. Staff were courteous and helpful. It took us 15 minutes to get 4 food items prepared. Food quantity is not generous so this works well for those wanting a smaller portion size. High chairs were functional and clean! The place is full of College aged patrons.

As a High Point local, I can say that Barberitos is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. You cannot beat the fresh and sustainably-sourced ingredients and friendly employees! Barberitos runs great weekly specials and has great prices. GO CHECK THEM OUT!

Barberitos kicks moes/chipotle/etc out of the water. Best selection of vegetables and the meats dont taste like plastic. Dont go to the other texmex restaraunts

Great food here. Lots of ingredients to choose from to go on your burrito, quesadilla, taco, or salad. Everything tastes freshly made.

Food was good, people were friendly, and the location was clean. No complaints

My wife and I ordered delivery via door dash. When the food arrived none of the extras(cheese dip, salsa, ect.) Were present. Also my own order, which was a burrito bowl with various toppings, arrived with only chicken, rice, and beans. Apparently both my wife and step son enjoyed their food. However the fact that we did not recieve a substantial portion of what was ordered, and paid for. I can only give a minimum rating

This particular location had the most attentive staff, seeing that our table was cleaned and carrying our used dishes/utensils to the bin.

My favorite place to grab food in High Point. Every time I go, the service is wonderful. The food taste so fresh. My favorite thing about this place is the many options you have to choose from. From the tortillas, protein, and veggies. Best chips and queso out there. This place rocks!

We love stopping for lunch here on the way to Harris Teeter. Always busy but you can surprisingly find a seat. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Haven't gotten a bad meal yet. Fresh Fresh Fresh! Make sure you try the different salsas!

This was my first time here and I was not disappointed! The establishment was very clean and the workers were very helpful! It is similar to a Moe's or Chipotle...they build you whatever you want! I decided on a chicken burrito with all the fixings! It was very fresh and STUFFED TO THE MAX. You get free chips with your meal and you can choose whatever salsa you want from their salsa bar! The queso tastes awesome as well! My meal was only $8.00 with a drink! It was delicious and we will definitely be back!

Any Barbs location has the best selection of fresh ingredients and the friendliest staff. One of my favorite restaurants hands down.

Food is good if you can get through the line before it gets cold. They desperately need more people on the fixings and cashier stations. They can't keep up with the meat guy and he doesn't bounce over to help. Also, don't go if HPU is in session. The lines are even slower while they use HPU cash paying options.

They don’t take the doordash orders seriously they always take the customers that’s already in the store every time I order thru doordash they don’t make it on time really annoying

As soon as I walk in they loudly and rudely tell me they are closed. I asked what are there hours and they said they close at 9. I was there at 7 and they rudely told me to leave. All the ingredients were there and they gave me no explanation why they would not serve me. Never coming back

The spicy chicken is highly recommended and don’t forget the corn salsa. I know this is highly contentious, but the Free chips and salsa with any burrito or bowl is what puts Barberitos in front of Moe’s and Chipotle. Plus kids eat for ridiculous cheap on Sundays.

Food is great. Need to stop seat saving during busy times to create a better flow of tables so all can get a seat.

They have a lot of the same menu options as places like Chipotle or Salsaritas but they have the hometown, small business, nonfranchise feel. They have an excellent and eclectic menu of Mexican inspired dishes that are fantastic.

This is the 3rd time we have come and the service seems to be getting worse. Tonight we had to wait to have extra stuff put on ourfood items while the man had to up date all of his containers of condiments. Then we had to wait to check out while the guy at the register was muddling through all of his stuff. The ice was out . By the time things. I had to tell him 3 times that I wanted one water and 1 drink and he had given me 2 drinks and then 2 waters. By the time we finally sat down my food was cold.
